Gary began his career in Clarkson, Nebraska as a member of the Brass Rail fast pitch squad where he starred from 1976-1987.
After moving to St Louis, he began pitching for the perennial Berra Park champion, Mules in 1991.
He also pitched for the Baue Knights and Behlmann’s and led each to championships in the St Charles League.
Gary competed in the ISC Travel League, ISC World Series and ASA Nationals from 1991-1998, winning the ASA Missouri State Championship with New Haven in 1997.
Once he turned 40, he pitched the Decatur Legends to an Over 40 National Championship in 1999 & 2000.
